Trump appoints Nigerian as part of important economic team
As part of his plans to 'make America great again', newly selected president of the United States of America, Donald Trump, has constituted a Strategic and Policy Forum, with a Nigerian as a member of this group.
The man identified as Adebayo Ogunlesi, is among the group consisting of America's highly successful and revered business leaders, and will be meeting with Trump on a regular basis to share their knowledge and experience on how to move the country forward.
Stephen A. Schwarzman, the Chairman, CEO, and co-founder of Blackstone is expected to chair the committee, while other members of the committee will be responsible for providing individual views on how the government policy impacts economic growth, job creation and productivity.
After constituting the forum, Trump said: "This forum brings together CEOs and business leaders who know what it takes to create jobs and drive economic growth.
"My administration is committed to drawing on private sector expertise and cutting the government red tape that is holding back our businesses from hiring, innovating, and expanding right here in America."
The musketeers are expected to meet with the president-elect in the first week of February.
