Well, Qmee was one of the first websites I came across last year when I first started my “making money online” journey. In this review, I will explain everything about Qmee and show you why it is nice to have it installed in your internet browser. After all, it is simply free money in your pocket without any effort! The application is an extension or toolbar installed on your browser. It will track all of your internet activities and show you specific ads when performing searches on the following company’s websites:

- Ebay
- Best Buy
Qmee has been growing exponentially over the years in the US and the UK, and it is not difficult to understand why. It is a win-win situation where advertisers benefit from more product visibility while internet users (you) get paid for searching and clicking on ads.

The sign up is very quick and straightforward. You can do it by providing your email account, Facebook or Twitter account (Create your account here).
App Download
The App works on Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Safari. You just have to follow these 3 simple steps:

- Get Qmee for “Your Browser”
- Add Extension
The extension will then become visible in the top right corner of your internet browser
After that, they can track your searches and show you related ads. I think there is no problem with that! After all, your activity on the internet has been tracked for years without your authorization, and to be honest, I see no harm in that.
The process
The interesting thing about Qmee is that you can keep using your internet as usual and forget about the toolbar. For example, I went to google and typed Samsung Galaxy. As soon as I pressed enter, a side screen with related ads appeared. Take a took how it works:
As you see, my search resulted in mobile cases from Qmee Ads displayed on the left. You can also see the reward of 8p in the top right-hand corner of each Ad. As soon as you click on one of them, you are redirected to the merchant’s website and the money is automatically credited to your Qmee account or Piggybank.
Indeed, when I checked the toolbar, I could see that the money was credited. You can click on one ad at a time. This means that when you go back to your search, the other ads will not be there anymore.
How Much Can You Make?
It is important to note that not every search will generate Ads. It depends on your specific searches and how valued you are as a Qmee user. I will explain this later on.
They say you can earn from cents up to $1 or £1. It is very rare to find this amount as the maximum I have seen so far was 16p. However, the average is around 8p per Ad.
If you came to this review hoping Qmee would help with your bills, I think you will be frustrated as I was. The Ads don’t show up very frequently and my advice is that you shouldn’t perform 100 searches a day just for the sake of getting ads! It will be a complete waste of time!
Here is the thing, companies are paying Qmee to advertise their products and they know exactly how you interact with the company’s website. Therefore, a statistic will be created based on know how long you stay on their pages and what you click on. If they see you always quit quickly from the product’s offer, it is a god indication that you are not a potential customer! What happen’s next is that they will reduce the number of Ads to you.

What to Search on Qmee?
It is easy to note that you will receive Ads mostly when you perform searches related to a product. So, if you are a bit frugal, like me, you will get very few ads. For example, if I use Google for my geography studies, I may hardly ever receive Ads whereas if I am looking for the latest gadgets, I may find Ads frequently.
But follow my advice: Download Qmee and forget about it! Don’t waste your time with artificial searches because the payout is very low and they will soon realize you are not genuine. As soon as you see an Ad, click on it and if you are not interested in the product, at least, stay a bit longer on the page and even click on other stuff. This will give a positive signal to Qmee that can increase the number of Ads available for you.
Cashing Out
There are 2 options to cash out with Qmee – Paypal and Gift Cards. You also have the option to give to charity.
Paypal: Before you get paid, you need to link your Paypal account with Qmee. There is no minimum threshold you need to reach and the money can be requested at any time. It can take up to 24 hours to be credited, but I have never waited more than 10 minutes.
Gift Cards: This is an interesting option made available only recently. You have to reach a threshold of $5 or £5 in order to exchange for gift cards in popular stores like Amazon, Starbucks, and iTunes!
There is No List of Best Searches – No Cheats
As they stated on their blog, there is no such thing as a list of best searches to receive more Ads. I am sorry to disappoint you, but if it were that easy and there was a way to cheat, Qmee would be extinct by now. Their business can only run because profits are being made for merchants.
They just want to show ads when they think people might be interested in specific products. That’s why they only display ads when you search for specific terms and why there is no magic list! Therefore, ads will be tailored to each individual accordingly.
Perform natural searches and you will make the best of Qmee!

Qmee is an interesting way to earn money by performing your daily searches on the internet. Before you were not paid a cent! Now you have the option to continue your normal routine and make some extra cash. It’s a win-win situation as explained.
